This beats every vacuum cleaner that I've ever owned ~ Simply amazing suction power
I owned a Panasonic canister vacuum cleaner for 27 years. When it finally bit the dust (or the dust bit it, as it no longer worked); I searched on Amazon for the best canister I could find. Since I have a cat in the house; it was imperative that the vacuum cleaner be capable of cleaning up excessive amounts of cat hair. After searching for days; I decided upon the LG Kompressor Canister PetCare Plus Vacuum Cleaner LcV900B. When I first used it in Sept. 2011; it exceeded my expectations. At the time; I thought that my decision had been a good one. Than, a little more than 1 year on the job; the suction suddenly dropped, not due to a clog, but because the push button controls on the handle no longer worked. Dealing with customer service at LG, is a very unpleasant experience. Out of frustration; I ended up giving the vacuum to a family member, and let them deal with getting it repaired. Henry is the man for me!
This little guy has awsome power to pick up. Henry is a canister vac, cannot be used with water in any way, so if you need one to suck up spills, this is not for you.
However, for typical uses for dirt and dust removal he is one of the best. He far out classes any other vac I've ever used on hard floors, furniture and dusting window sills and corners. He is light weight and easy to lift and manage unlike my Kirby and Rainbow vacs. He's also great for cleaning out the car. If you need a vac for liquid spills consider a Rainbow, or a unit that can shampoo carpets consider the Kirby. But if you want a very affordable vac with lots of power that's light weight and picks up dry dirt, Henry Xtra is the man to do the job!
