I ADORE this vacuum cleaner
I bought this vacuum yesterday because it's rated number one by Consumer Reports (reason enough right there), and because it was on sale at Sears for $479.99, within my $500 budget. Most of yesterday was spent in a vacuuming delirium of joy. Here's why:
It picks up everything -- cat food debris, dust, spider webs, leaf litter, cat fur, everything.
All the buttons -- on/off, motor power, suction power, agitator on/off -- are on the handle. Pile height adjustment with your foot. Fly like a bird from floor to carpet and back!
Has a 27-foot cord, which means if I plug it in the kitchen, I can reach all the way to either end of the house.
Has a power agitator ("Power Mate") for carpets, which you can turn off to vacuum bare floors. Even better, you can pull out of the Power Mate a smaller floor brush that reaches into smaller spaces and crevices.

Clean away
I liked the Intuition and it's features. It was bought used so I didn't get a vaccum bag for it or a pamphlet with handy info on it. I was disappointed about that. It cleans with ease. The only point about it is the weight to pull it around and picking up the canister to move it. I'm an old grey mare and I am not as strong as my younger days. It cleans pet hairs with ease and the switching from the floor to carpet is great. All the features are on the handle,so you can change each task in a second. I would recommend this unit.
Quality
I did a lot of research. Most vacuums are made of mostly plastic. This is a quality machine. It is replacing an upright, which I dont like to use because it is so hard on my bad back. This canister does it all with ease. It has just a few scratches, but compared to buying new for over 500 dollars, it is an amazing value. I would buy from this seller again!
