good, powerful vacuum
I bought this to do cleanup while deleading my house. The vacuum is very powerful and easily picks up all the dust and small debris on the floor and other surfaces. It even picked up all the fine plaster dust when I had to cut the walls back for the new window trim. The floor attachment works well on wood floors. I passed the reoccupancy inspection on the first try, so it must actually be containing the lead dust. The seller was unclear about whether this was the HEPA filter version of the vacuum or not, but mine came with a HEPA filter installed (this vacuum can also have a cleanable canister filter that is not a HEPA filter).
The paper bags that go in this vacuum cannot fill up all the way because the HEPA filter is in the middle of the vacuum and the bag does not have room to fill up. It still holds a large amount of dirt, allowing the HEPA filter to last longer. The bags are inexpensive and easy to replace.

Nilfisk Advance vacuum cleaner
We bought this vacuum to help us clean up our house after a removation project that created a great deal of fine dust. A regular vacuum cleaner would allow some of the fine particles to be released back into the room. This vacuum cleaner has a relatively large HEPA filter in it along with a paper bag filter. The paper bag filters out most of the particles and then the HEPA filter collects the last of the fine particles. After using it, I am happy with the results. The vacuum cleaner also has powerful suction. The cord is long, so an extension cord is not needed. Since this unit was designed primarily as an industrial vacuum, it does not have a cord rewind system, which we would like to have had. Overall it is a great vacuum cleaner.

What a great vacuum! Wanted something lightweight that could go under furniture, beds easier. This is Super easy to maneuver about, (kind of follows you around like a puppy), long cord, has usual vac accessories, (other extensions and vac tools from my old vacs also fit this) so I can easily reach very high ceiling beams. I have gone through a Kirby, Hoover, Dyson vacs in the past and had an in-home vac, I like this one much, much more. Well engineered. No extraneous bells and whistles just lightweight, durable, effective vac! Can use this all over the house with very little hassle. I put all of my old vac tools, & extensions into a tote bag, beside my vac in the closet, so I now have the most versatile, light weight, effective vac I have ever owned.
We have tall ceilings, lots of high bookshelves filled with books and memorabilia, inside and outside pets, long haired cat, sewer, gardener, and horse person in and out of this house...translates into -lots of dander, hair, dust,...
