Independent tests show that a counterfeit dustbag and filter does not effectively capture particles – increasing your exposure to harmful substances. Not only will counterfeit parts increase your exposure to fine particles, these results show that they reduce your vacuum’s air flow, undermining cleaning performance by more than 12%. |

I'm happy using generic FJM bags (from Amazon), 5 for $10!I just love my two Miele cannister vacuums, they're great. We live on all tile floors with 10 dogs and a few cats, so everyday I vacuum up a ton of animal hair, and I go through vacuum bags quite frequently. I'm not paying $19 for four bags, that's ridiculous! I e-mailed Miele, they told me about how much better filtration the new bags afforded. I explained that filtration quality means nothing when cleaning very coarse animal hair. I'm not living in a "clean Room" at Intel!
I noticed that Bosch has also raised their cannister bag prices, so maybe it's a German thing. I started buying generic "FJM" 5 bags for $10 from Amazon, which work just fine. These cheap bags have a cardboard connection at top, instead of plastic, but doesn't matter. So I'm happy now. I'm not paying $5 per Miele bag!
Miele Style F,J,M Canister Vacuum Bags Microfiltration with Closure - 5/2 PackPerfect fitI purchased these vacuum bags to fit an ancient Miele vacuum cleaner, and they fit perfectly. The product was delivered immediately and was exactly as specified.
Those bags are the best ever made by MieleI can't tell you how fast you can finish vacuuming using this new design bag, no odors, no missing dirt or hairs anymore, what a difference, used to take me over 1 hour to go through the whole house now it takes me less then 15 minutes, the suction is greatly improved, my kid's room has a very thick rug, some of the dust would stick to it... normally I would have to go over and over the rug with my vacuum cleaner, to get the visual dust of the rug, sometimes I would have to get down on all four to get some of that dust by hand... not anymore ...what a difference a simply good design has made. Before that I was thinking of getting a new vacuum cleaner with a greater power, guess what, not a chance...Buy those bags and save plenty of time to get the job done right...and instead of HEPA filter I use the one for odor control Miele Active Air Clean Filter (For Odor Control) - S300/S400/S500 Series ...very pleased
