Quality in a little package!
I recently purchased a Miele Callisto canister locally after reading so many great reviews. Sorry Amazon I usually like to buy from you. But I felt it was a big enough purchase and something I would need quickly!

I brought it home and it would not work. Turns out the wand had electrical problems. So I returned it for a full refund.

I was still searching for a small, lightweight,powerful, quiet canister with a power head ( for pet hair).

I returned to the leading vacuum retailer locally, who knew all about Miele's electrical problems. There actually were 3 Miele's in the store that were out of warranty and being fixed!!! This
store will repair any vacuum. But they will not sell Miele.

Time will tell
After much research we purchased the Sebo K3. We have had a Hoover and Kenmore canister vacuum previously - and are committed to this style of vacuum. However we've been disappointed at the durability of our most recent vacuum. We tried out the different makes and models in many vacuum stores, and settled on this one. It had a sturdiness and no-nonsense feel about it - and from our research, we trust that it will serve for years. But, as with anything you buy - time will tell.

The components are handy - attached to the unit. The releases are basic and my children have figured them out. The brush-roller can be removed easily to clean the hair and strings that get wrapped around it. Height is easily adjusted on the wand, and the handle swivels fully both to the right and left (no lefty- adjustments needed). I LOVE MY PRO TEAM SIERRA
I love my Pro Team Sierra. I have allergies. To be able to vacuum and not have dust particles or dust odor from the vacuum is wonderful. It has great suction. My floors haven't been this clean in years. I have an old house with wood floors. Crud falls into the crevasses. My old vacuum would not create enough suction to get the crud out. My Sierra does. The portability is great too. With a 2-story house, it is wonderful to put it on my back and take it with me, up stairs and down. No more bumping and dragging the hose behind.

We live in a log home and the walls periodically need to to vacuumed. My wife struggled with various units and had problems with insufficient suction, short hoses, and awkward carrying. Although this unit is expensive, the reviews were positive and she decided to purchase it. Wow! This is an extremely well built vacuum, easy to carry, powerful and very versitile. I used it from a ladder to vacuum some beams in the house and was very impressed with how it functioned and how safe it felt. I'd highly recommend this one, rather than struggle with lesser units. Very pleased with vacuum. Light weight, easy to move from room to room. Love the adjustable suction control for throw rugs.
I have a lot of dog hair, it really picks it up good. I had an upright for years because we had carpet, now we have wood and
tile floors with a few rugs. I only wish it had a beeter bar for the rugs other wise I recommend it to everyone, plus the

good, powerful vacuum
I bought this to do cleanup while deleading my house. The vacuum is very powerful and easily picks up all the dust and small debris on the floor and other surfaces. It even picked up all the fine plaster dust when I had to cut the walls back for the new window trim. The floor attachment works well on wood floors. I passed the reoccupancy inspection on the first try, so it must actually be containing the lead dust. The seller was unclear about whether this was the HEPA filter version of the vacuum or not, but mine came with a HEPA filter installed (this vacuum can also have a cleanable canister filter that is not a HEPA filter).

The paper bags that go in this vacuum cannot fill up all the way because the HEPA filter is in the middle of the vacuum and the bag does not have room to fill up. It still holds a large amount of dirt, allowing the HEPA filter to last longer. The bags are inexpensive and easy to replace.

Nilfisk Advance vacuum cleaner
We bought this vacuum to help us clean up our house after a removation project that created a great deal of fine dust. A regular vacuum cleaner would allow some of the fine particles to be released back into the room. This vacuum cleaner has a relatively large HEPA filter in it along with a paper bag filter. The paper bag filters out most of the particles and then the HEPA filter collects the last of the fine particles. After using it, I am happy with the results. The vacuum cleaner also has powerful suction. The cord is long, so an extension cord is not needed. Since this unit was designed primarily as an industrial vacuum, it does not have a cord rewind system, which we would like to have had. Overall it is a great vacuum cleaner.

I've owned this vacuum for over 12-15 years. My parents got it for me when I was in high school after we discovered I had dust allergies (in addition to asthma). Excellent on bare floors. I'm not recommending it for carpets. This is the smartest bagless design I've seen; I didn't think I'd find a bagless I liked. Moreover, bagless is overrated because bags aren't much of an inconvenience at all. I researched on line and visited all the stores. Bed Bath & Beyond had this vac for the same price as Amazon- plus I could plug it in there and try it out for real.
Picks: Good dirt-collecting design for a bagless. Light weight. Good suction. Clever wand design detaches from the body for reaching awkward areas.
Pans: Cord is a little short. A little weak at the edge where the wall meets the floor.
This thing picks up cheerios and pet hair, paper clips, staples and anything else I don't want my baby to eat off the floor. It is used daily. Great vacuum!!!
My wife and I purchased this vacuum mainly because it is lightweight and the reviews stated it doesn't loose suction. After using it for about a month of, it comes through on both fronts. It is easy to maneuver on the stairs, lightweight enough to lift up and down the stairs, and all the while not needing to be emptied often. It has functional features and is less expensive than a Dyson. Overall, a great vacuum and well worth the money.

I just got this vacuum (from BB&B store because they have a 20%-off coupon = $130 total & I could carry it home instead of waiting for shipping to arrive) & I absolutely love it on my carpets!

It has surprisingly powerful suction for such a compact unit & I even bypassed the Navigator Lift Away (which I planned to get) in favor of this one because I liked how it performed even better than the Lift Away despite its smaller size. It lifts up the nap on my trampled carpets & makes them look new again. This vacuum pulls out so much dirt, dust, hair & fibers from my carpets that my old canister vacuum left behind. I am extremely pleased. This is a great vacuum cleaner.
I had no prior experience with canister vacuum cleaners, so I really didn't know what to expect. I already own an almost new Hoover bagless upright vacuum cleaner for comparison. First of all, the Hoover canister vacuum cleaner has a really great high tech appearance and seems to be well designed and manufactured. The first downside I can see to a canister vacuum cleaner is there are a lot of parts to assemble and store every time you want to use it. I finally decided the best way to store it is to put it back into the original shipping box. So don't throw it away. It makes it fairly easy and compact to store everything. The instruction manual is next to useless. The numbered items were incorrect or missing altogether. I hope somebody from Hoover reads this. It is embarrassing how little was written and how pathetic the mistakes are. So, you've just got to figure everything out by yourself. Thankfully it isn't so difficult.

Great execution - but it's not perfect
QUICK SUMMARY: Lots of thoughtful design has gone into this well-appointed Hoover canister vacuum. But it's not perfect.

Background: We've used an upright Hoover vacuum since we married (a long time). This is our first canister vacuum. It has a lot of thoughtful design packed into it, but in the end, I think most members of my family would rather still use an upright vacuum instead of a canister model. Anyone who watches television even occasionally has seen the ads for a vacuum featuring the inventor, who promises his premium bagless vacuum "won't lose suction". So it's no surprise that Hoover, the company whose name is, in some places, synonymous with vacuum cleaning would develop a bagless canister promising "no loss of suction", at a lower price.
Even while unpacking the vacuum, I was confident that assembly would be easy. The contents were even listed on the box flap, so I didn't even have to find the instructions to ensure I had everything.. The "business" part of the vacuum was packed carefully, but I must admit that for a few minutes I thought they had omitted the crevice tool and dusting brush accessories, which were not securely packed and had fallen to the floor as I removed cardboard from the box. It was indeed so easy to put together that I didn't need to read the printed instructions, which are included.

Excellent on bare floors. I'm not recommending it for carpets. This is the smartest bagless design I've seen; I didn't think I'd find a bagless I liked. Moreover, bagless is overrated because bags aren't much of an inconvenience at all. I researched on line and visited all the stores. Bed Bath & Beyond had this vac for the same price as Amazon- plus I could plug it in there and try it out for real.
Picks: Good dirt-collecting design for a bagless. Light weight. Good suction. Clever wand design detaches from the body for reaching awkward areas.
Pans: Cord is a little short. A little weak at the edge where the wall meets the floor.
This thing picks up cheerios and pet hair, paper clips, staples and anything else I don't want my baby to eat off the floor. It is used daily. The carpet brush is capable of picking up tracked-in debris on the large entry rugs and low pile area rugs. IMO it is too light to be effective on thick pile carpets- even on low pile it...

Great vacuum!!!
My wife and I purchased this vacuum mainly because it is lightweight and the reviews stated it doesn't loose suction. After using it for about a month of, it comes through on both fronts. It is easy to maneuver on the stairs, lightweight enough to lift up and down the stairs, and all the while not needing to be emptied often. It has functional features and is less expensive than a Dyson. Overall, a great vacuum and well worth the money.

I just got this vacuum (from BB&B store because they have a 20%-off coupon = $130 total & I could carry it home instead of waiting for shipping to arrive) & I absolutely love it on my carpets!

It has surprisingly powerful suction for such a compact unit & I even bypassed the Navigator Lift Away (which I planned to get) in favor of this one because I liked how it performed even better than the Lift Away despite its smaller size. It lifts up the nap on my trampled carpets & makes them look new again. This vacuum pulls out so much dirt, dust, hair & fibers from my carpets that my old canister vacuum left behind. Hardwood floor Brush for Bosch Formula Vacuum
This brush is very gentle on hardwood and laminate flooring. I debated whether to buy this because my Bosch Formula already comes with a motorized brush that you flip a switch to turn on the brush rollers. However the brush roller is very aggressive and is great for non scratch flooring like tile and vinyl. I have used the Hard Floor Brush and it gets the dirt to where the vacuum can pick it up. The motorized brush without turning on the brush rollers just moves the dust around. I shopped price and Go-Vacuum was the best price, and they were quick to ship.

This floor brush is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits the vacuum perfectly and does the job required. Bosch SHOULD sell this with the vacuum itself. I don't care for the brush that ACTUALLY comes with the bosch vacuum, as it does not have the bristles and on my Mexican tile could cause sand to scratch the finish. I needed a canister vacuum cleaner because my house has all hardwood floors. Didn't want to spend the money on one that specializes in carpet. This machine was the answer. Works great and is very light weight. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Only thing that bothers me is that the pipe for the floor attachment falls off easily from the hose. It should have a toggle button to hold it on.

Customer reviews on Amazon are always the deciding factor for me, if I will buy a product or not. So I spent 2 months reading vacuum cleaner reviews and settled on this one. I use a vac 3 times a week in a 1200 sq ft house, no indoor pets. If you are looking for a canister vac for under $200, and have mostly tile or hardwood floors, this seems like a good bet(of course, so did my upright Dirt Devil Vibe bought 3 years ago and fell apart!)Cons: the construction seems flimsy, everything is plastic so go gently with it. The cord wraps underneath the vac so you have to turn it upside down to do it and the cord is very stiff and does not wrap easily. Also, the wheels are always getting stuck on the cord as you pull it across the floor. These are mostly minor annoyances, here are the Pros: Quiet compared to my old upright. Plenty of suction. I like this vacuum for its size and attachments. Was not so happy with the heavy cord, as it is hard to wind up, plus no real place to hold all the cord, as the strap provided is too small. Also wish there was something more to hold accessories. Good power and light weight.

I was not disappointed.
I have used this product before and I really liked it. The machine has plenty of power, is more lightweight than I remembered, and the long cord allows me to move over a large area of the house before moving the power cord. I would highly recommend the product.

Awesome and EASY to use....SUPER SUCTION!
I love this vacuum. I just got it yesterday and I put it together and had it going within minutes. I vacuumed my whole house (2500 square feet) in 15 minutes. It's lightweight and the suction is awesome. I also used it on my furniture to get pet hair and it worked awesome. I am a cleaning lady and I can't wait to use it on Monday at my first client's house!

The 50 foot cord is great because you just plug into the middle of your house and you never have to unplug, just keep going until it's done. It even works on plush carpet as it's a hard plastic, it just runs over it sucking all the dirt up!

Downside: it doesn't have a horsetail brush for wood floors as to not scratch them. Looking for one of those right now!
