Hardwood floor Brush for Bosch Formula Vacuum
This brush is very gentle on hardwood and laminate flooring. I debated whether to buy this because my Bosch Formula already comes with a motorized brush that you flip a switch to turn on the brush rollers. However the brush roller is very aggressive and is great for non scratch flooring like tile and vinyl. I have used the Hard Floor Brush and it gets the dirt to where the vacuum can pick it up. The motorized brush without turning on the brush rollers just moves the dust around. I shopped price and Go-Vacuum was the best price, and they were quick to ship.

Bosch floor brush
This floor brush is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits the vacuum perfectly and does the job required. Bosch SHOULD sell this with the vacuum itself. I don't care for the brush that ACTUALLY comes with the bosch vacuum, as it does not have the bristles and on my Mexican tile could cause sand to scratch the finish. Thank you for having this item for sale!!!

Miele cleaner was recommended to us. The wood floor attachment gets into every corner - it's incredible compared to the thing we had. The electric powered carpet head also works very well. Very pleased with the unit.

In trying to decide which model to buy. started at the Miele web site where they list features - such as the electric powered carpet head - included in certain models. However on the web I found different prices for the same model, and it seems that for any one model what different web sites include is not be the same - specifically for the model I bought, Callisto, there were several web sites advertizing that model but in the fine print they said it included the vacuum powered carpet head, not the far superior, and more expensive - electric powered head.

The unit we have is great - just be careful to check what some of the vendors are offering...

1st Time Canister Purchase
I've been married 17 years, this is my fifth vacuum cleaner purchase in that time! I have serious allergies plus a dog, cat and very active 13 year old in my home. My trusty Kenmore Progressive upright was my most recent & by far favorite vacuum purchase. It's ran great for 5+ years. However, the upright was not especially functional in our most recent home which has lots of wood/tile flooring and limited carpet. Plus I couldn't reach my ceilings.

Realized that cleaning would be much easier with a cansiter and set out to do my homework on which one to by. It was obvious with minimal research that a Miele would probably be my best option. And while I expected to pay $400-$600 for a quality vacuum, the prices on the Miele gave me considerable pause. I headed out to Sear's to test drive the Kenmore canisters- I had no complaints about my upright- and definitely preferred their prices. I was horrified by the quality I saw on display there.

Excellent vacuum cleaner
Have my Miele for one year now and I am totally satisfied. It has worked without a hitch since the day I took it out of the box. Was the replacement of my former vertical Hoover, which had a strong suction power and was easy to use on floors, but was a pain to use for any other purposes. It was so poorly designed that it was useless for anything else but floor vacuum cleaning (and let me add a word about the poor plastic quality, that broke almost everytime I hit something).

Got my Miele with the SEB 217-3 Direct Connect Powerbrush. Very light and maneuverable powerbrush that has excellent suction power. I use it for carpet as well as tiles. What I like the most about this device is that it does not scatter the dust (like the cat litter on the floor) everywhere, as the powerbrush of my Hoover did. Now, I get no more litter specks on my feet when I clean the cat litter area.

As others said, the vacuum cleaner itself is light, very maneuverable (three 360' rotating...

Long term review of Airbelt C3.1 (discontinued)
This is my first review on Amazon. I have been guilty of reading other reviews but not bothering to write my own. I just got off the phone with Sebo support though and wanted to express how completely happy I am with their products and support. I am posting this review here as the C3.1 with the ET-H powerhead has now been discontinued but the quality should live on in newer models.

I am the type of person that over-researches everything I buy, to a fault. We bought our Sebo Airbelt C3.1 canister vacuum with the ET-H powerhead in or around the year 1999, and have used it continually for the 12 years since. I recall at the time, people teasing us - a couple in our early 20's for spending 700+ at the time for a vacuum. Ever since though, everyone who has used it has remarked at how quiet and efficient it is. I always preferred to buy something nice that lasted, than to continually have to replace junk, and Sebo fits the bill of quality built to last.

Just got one...first day review!
I grew up in an Electrolux home and had an Electrolux as my first "adult" vacuum (unfortunately, I surrendered it in my divorce). I purchased a well reviewed (by a leading consumer magazine) Kenmore when I went out on my own and disliked many things about it -- mostly, I just felt it wasn't a very high quality. I purchased a Dyson to replace it, "wowed" by its claims and found it to be a reasonably good vac in terms of suction but IMPOSSIBLE to manage all the attachments and heft the thing around...and, it just feels like cheap plactic. I also didn't like the bagless style, because despite all of the HEPA claims, it created a cloud of dust every time I emptied it. So, I relegated it to my moldy basement and decided to purchase a vacuum that had *everything* I wanted and would last 20 years, like my mom's trusty Electrolux. (The real original Electrolux company was sold years ago and has since gone bankrupt; the Electroluxes you can buy now bought the name of the company only and...
Upright switcher
We can't believe we did this but it's the best buy in vacuums we have ever done. Our family has always had an upright because we have always had a lot of carpet in our houses. Uprights are for carpet and cannisters are for hardwood. That is the rule. We also have had a cannister type vacuum but used it very little. Mostly a kithen and garage vac for us. Well it was finally time for a new vac. Over our life we have gone through lots of brands. The kids are grown and gone but we still have our dogs. After talking with and testing lots of different brands at our local store we purchased the Sebo. Same vacuum the owner and his wife use. It's pricy but this will be our last. Our house today has lots of hardwood but still a few rooms with carpet. After using our Sebo for the last few months we can say without a doubt it is the best vacuum we have ever owned. We were very pleasantly suprised and pleased to find that the floor brush we ordered and received is larger/wider than the original one that came with our vacuum. It makes so much sense to have a larger size to clean a wider swath of floor! Too bad the standard issue sizes are smaller just so they can fit inside the cannister storage compartment when a larger size like this is so much more practical.
